NHL mourns the legend that has won a record 11 Stanley Cup
Henri Richard lifted the Stanley Cup for the NHL hockey champion overseas eleven times and became the decisive goal scorer in the play-off final. Henri Richard, Maurice Richard’s younger brother, died on Friday at the age of 84, after which the best profile shooter was named.
Henri Richard is a native of Montreal and a whole career with the Canadiens there. Debuted in the most prestigious competition, he graduated in 1955/56 and played the last match of the season 1974/75. He has played 1258 regular matches at the NHL for twenty seasons, it is the most in club history. He scored 1046 points and scored 358 hits exactly.
I always had in mind to play for Canadiens and be with my brother Maurice. People told me that if I got in the car, I would feel pressure, but I never felt any. I joined the team like 19-year-old Montreal had some great players then. Except for Maurice Jean Beliveau, Bernard Geoffrion, Doug Harvey or Jacques Plante . In 1979, he was introduced to hockey stadium.
A dozen years later, he became part of the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame and ranked among the top 100 NHL leaders in history competition. He was called “Pocket Rocket” because of his short stature.
Many NHL players are quarantined recently
In hockey in Boston, they dealt with a coronavirus-related crisis in a good mood. Evidence is also a spy for the Slovak defender and captain of the “bear” Zdena Chára in place of Finnish goalkeeper Tuukku Raska. Chara said with a smile that he would not want to go to quarantine with Rask, and gave an explanation.
Chara attended a video meeting with three other hockey players from the Atlantic Division of the Eastern NHL Conference. His companion in the video call is Toronto Maple Leafs striker John Tavares, Dylan Larkin from Detroit Red Wings and Brady Tkachuk from Senator Ottawa.
Chára first answered the question of which of his teammates he wanted quarantine. This will be Charlie Coyle and Kevan Miller for them ability to talk about anything. They can comment anything on the topic, Leo Chara explained.
Boston had 825 known coronavirus infections on March 30, 59 people were formally recovered and two died.
